i'm so glad, but at the same time kinda sad. lol. last week i cleared ALL my tasks at work so today was like a fresh start. it feels kinda good, considering my tasks the previous weeks were in RED (meaning i got too many tasks piling up) and a couple of them are in 'high' and even worse, 'critical' status. but yeah i managed to finish them all wooh! now i want more tasks! i sorta love the pressure. it keeps me pumped and motivated. lol. having only few tasks makes me sleepy!
you know at work, they said that australia is now the fattest country. i'm not sure if it's true but i kinda find it hard to believe. hm, is it true??
if my workmate didn't tell us about it at work, i wouldn't know about this (only watched the opening of the olympics and when the games started, i'm just like *yawn*) well good news though cuz he'll be able to weightlift again in a few months!

ok i did the reformat and it went very smoothly. only thing is my dear laptop is internetless at the moment. can't connect to our freakin' wireless internet because apparently i got the wrong password and i have no clue how to retrieve it now... well ok, need to go to this ip address thingy, but for some reason it redirects me to yahoo freakin search result with the ip. bleh!
another thing, i realised today that it's just as hard finding a designer as applying for one. i went through a couple of CVs at work since we're hiring a temp designer and some have just really crap CV format you won't be bothered reading it. portfolio-wise there is only one candidate that got my approval (lol). the dude has promising design skills although i won't say entirely "there". i think he's a fresh grad.
on a more positive note, we went to partington's last night for dinner. it was pretty awesome. it's in a 5 star hotel and we got our own private dining room with fancy golden seats. plus so many courses with desserts in between - they call it refreshments but it's like some ice cream but not. and after our final dessert (the one you actually order), we were given even more dessert afterwards. i think the meal started with bread and butter, then entree, then MAIN entree then dessert, then MAIN course then dessert then another dessert then MAIN dessert then another dessert. the only thing we ordered were the MAIN entree, MAIN course and MAIN dessert. the rest were complimentary. i think we spent like $1000 for 9 people. good thing the company was paying for it. =)
